Weekly Duties

Chair Rota: With 120 members it's no mean feat to put
out chairs at the beginning of the evening and pack them
away at the end of a rehearsal. Each week a different
section of the choir, e.g. Second Sopranos, performs this
duty.

You'll need to be aware when it's your section's turn
according to the duty rota and arrive ten minutes earlier
than normal at ~6.50 p.m. to assist. The list is always
posted on the choir notice board that is available at each
session. Naturally you'll also need to stay behind for a
few minutes to put the chairs away. It's not an onerous
task.

Tea/Coffee Rota: This is run on a voluntary basis. Each week three members of choir
prepare tea, coffee and squash. People are encouraged to sign up periodically.
